Motivation for Learning among Students Undertaking Basic Vocational Training and University Studies within the Context of COVID-19

The main aim of the present study is to adapt academic motivation scale (AMS) for use within basic vocational training and university students. Another was analyze characteristics different dimensions motivation, whilst also examining existing significant differences between two studied educational stages. For this, we conducted exploratory confirmatory factor analysis, alongside descriptive inferential analysis student responses. One findings that a reduced version AMS, made up five 21 items, demonstrated good internal consistency fit. Further, observed intrinsic higher in students, extrinsic during stage. In addition, uncovered both stages with regards pleasure felt by students when they better themselves, learn new things attend center. Differences emerged relation importance attributed achieving well-paid job. With amotivation, only exist motives have attending classes decision making about whether continue studying course are enrolled on.
